During his time as the owner of River Strong Fitness in Green Cove Springs, Florida, Michael Boiani supervised all gym operations, including matters of permitting, licensing, insurance, and financing. He also managed daily activities at the gym, such as hiring and advertising. In addition to driving administrative and business operations at River Strong Fitness, Michael Boiani engaged with clients as a primary fitness coach and boxing program manager. He led both group and individual fitness sessions and assisted guests with developing long-term fitness plans. The foundation of this experience comes from his Health Science and Athletic Training degree at the University of North Florida
Michael Boiani balanced his business management at River Strong Fitness with his work as an Operational Support Officer with Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing in Jacksonville, a position he held for over 2 years. An experienced Naval officer, he is now the N1 Crisis Action Team lead with the CNREURAFCENT Regional Operations Center and additionally he is the Regional Reserve Program director, headquartered in Naples, Italy. He has received numerous commendations and awards during his time in the Navy, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, and three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, to name just a few.
